The Sarah Silverman Program
Sarah Silverman’s show on Comedy Central is obnoxious, polictically incorrect, completely inappropriate, and, you guessed it, absolutely hilarious! I happened to catch an episode tonight and laughed like crazy.
I’m recording the series in hopes that the rest of the episodes are as funny as the one I just watched.

By the time I wake up tomorrow morning, The Boggs Blog will have eclipsed 10,000 views.
There is no way I’m going to be able to fall asleep tonight. Outside of a 10th or 100th birthday – or some strange plastic surgery procedure – I can think of no other non-financial instances in which one [...]

John Clark’s Blog
Folks – John Clark has a blog. And it should be a good one. How you can not love a blog that so openly admits its self-aggrandizing purpose?
Apologies for referring to myself in the third person in this post’s title, but I’m trying to maximize the number of URLs with my name [...]

An Apple A Day
My college roommate Lee and his C-Ville roommate Anson know how to peel an apple or two (thousand). I, for one, will never eat an apple the old way again…
Buy the magic apple machine on Amazon.com – you won’t be dissappointed.

The People I Met Last Night
Lyle Lovett played the first concert of the Carolina Performing Arts Series 2006/2007 season last night at UNC’s Memorial Hall. As usual, I was there, row R, seat 15.
The show was great. Lyle and his Large Band drifted from big band, to blues, to jazz, to gospel, to bluegrass, to straight honky tonk [...]

Dear Mark Zuckerberg,
First of all, congratulations on being a ga-zillionaire. I hope that is working out well for you.
I wanted to reflect on the recent events with your site, Facebook.com. (For those that aren’t hip to Facebook and what went down, read here and here for a good summary.)
I’ve read articles about “revolting users”, “saving [...]

Colt McCoy
I’m half-watching the Texas vs. Ohio State game while catching up on some old email. While half-watching, I’m trying to figure something out:
Could there be a better name for a Texas QB than “Colt McCoy”?
Seriously? Does it get any more “Texas” than that – outside of “Tex Eastwood”, “Walker Texas Quarterback”, or “George W. McConaughey“?

My Very Excellent Mother…
…Just Sat Under New….?
It is a sad day my friends:
Pluto Gets the Boot
“After a tumultuous week of clashing over the essence of the cosmos, the International Astronomical Union stripped Pluto of the planetary status it has held since its discovery in 1930.”
(I’ve always wanted to take some time away to discuss the essence of [...]

A Great Week at Slate.com
The good people at Slate.com have served up some tasty morsels over the past week:
Johnny Cash, Cornball. “These days, it’s hard to find anyone who isn’t a Johnny Cash fan.”
Amen! (At least to the first line of the article anyway.) As a serious Johnny Cash fan well before “Walk The Line”, I can admit [...]
